Job Summary

This key leader serves as POS expert and IT advocate for Field Managers, Clients, and dining management team. Responsible for ordering and coordinating all dining POS installations, conversions and closing business system related issues. Acts as the single point of contact with IT provider for all IT related issues unable to be resolved by 3rd party support team. Communicates all steps of project(s) progress effectively to all involved parties. Effectively trains unit managers and other in the use of IT management tools

Competencies:

  • Proficiency with point-of-sale systems

  • Understanding of networks and communication protocols.

  • Working knowledge of SQL to analyze and interpret enterprise data.

  • Strong MS Excel and MS Access skills

  • Experience with extracting data from point-of-sale systems (i.e., InfoGenesis, Nextep, 365, etc.) for reporting purposes

  • Understanding and working knowledge of camera/surveillance equipment and software management

  • Strong communication skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Highly motivated, organized, detail oriented and a team player.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Field support position - travel 35+%

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regular cadence and liaison with Compass Digital, Nextep and other related vendors

  • Menu management for both POS and App and ensure site readiness execute menu items in accordance recipes and menu descriptions

  • Troubleshooting and working with the Compass Digital team to resolve issues

  • Driving adoption in the app and analyzing and reporting on top versus bottom performing accounts

  • Liaison with Culinary & Marketing to drive performance

  • Review business analytics and provide monthly reporting or as needed for presentations and other business needs

  • Developing and managing a Technology Road Map to ensure implementation and success of ongoing initiatives

  • Provide marketing and technology information and data to be included in client presentations

  • Creates solutions that will enhance the customer experience

  • Creates and participates in client innovation updates, making strategic recommendations based on collected consumer insights

  • Utilizes industry market research to validate project objectives and take advantage of opportunities associated with emerging trends.

  • Monthly reporting of POS and App sales and participation data from Power BI and other related sources
