Sr. Operations Analyst, Sales Incentive Compensation

As the Sr. Analyst, Sales Incentive Compensation you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective compensation strategies to attract, retain, and motivate top talent within our organization. This role will support our GTM organization through operational execution, process innovation and strong stakeholder management. You will lead the design, implementation, and administration of our incentive compensation program. Your experience in GTM incentive management, data analysis, and strategic thinking will contribute to our overall compensation philosophy and support our business objectives. This position will also drive GTM incentive program design, modeling, analytics, and support benchmarking projects. You will ensure Quickbase’s incentive program and practices remain competitive and strategically aligned to the business.

This role will involve and own building, optimizing, and maintaining monthly, quarterly, and annual processes related to GTM incentive compensation. You will partner with Finance, HR, Sales, CS, and other GTM functions to create operational rigor within the organization that enables a seamless delivery of our compensation program. The ideal candidate will blend quantitative and analytical skills with a strategic mindset, program management experience, and a proven ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and program stakeholders. This is a role up your sleeves position to help shape, define and optimize our incentive program.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of comprehensive sales incentive compensation programs drives GTM performance and aligns with organizational goals.

  • Drive incentive compensation plan analytics, assessing plan effectiveness and spend. Develop analytics and dashboarding capabilities to report on key metrics and provide insights.

  • Participate regular market analysis, benchmarking and feedback sessions and stay informed about best practices to ensure our sales incentive programs remain competitive and impactful. Recommend adjustments as necessary.

  • Utilize data analytics to assess the effectiveness of existing incentive programs, identify opportunities for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations.

  • Manage development and distribution of plan documents, plan calculators, and training materials for compensation program rollouts.

  • Establish clear crediting rules and work closely with Legal on plan terms and conditions.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of compensation process & policies working with Finance, Legal, HR and GTM Operations.

  • Manage the calculation and payment of commissions accurately and timely. Lead, support and partner with Accounting to offshore commission calculation and administration.

  • Effectively communicate compensation plans, policies, and changes to ensure transparency and understanding among employees, managers, and executives.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance and HRIS, to ensure accurate and timely data analysis, reporting, and systems alignment related to compensation.

  • Lead monthly and quarterly governance committee meetings.

  • Participate in the issue resolution process for responding to escalated issues and questions concerning incentive compensation plan design and policies.

Skills And Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent experience

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in incentive compensation design and management.

  • Strong understanding of GTM compensation principles, plan mechanics and best practices.

  • Proficiency in using sales performance management tools and systems (e.g., Salesforce, Xactly, Power BI). Xactly hands on knowledge is preferred.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in commission calculations and reporting.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Strong project management skills to move projects/tasks forward.

  • Proven track record of driving process improvements and implementing best practices.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
