Responsibilities

The Research Analyst will support research studies and clinical trials at Ascension. In this position, you will be responsible for supporting the Ascension Clinical Research Institute with patient cohort development using acute and ambulatory EHR data along with operational reporting using clinical trial management system data. You will be integrated into a multi-disciplinary team contributing analytics that support research and clinical trials.

Responsibilities:

• Support multiple research studies/clinical trials by identifying cohorts using criteria provided by clinical teams and managing the data delivery process between teams and systems.

• Validate data, developing quality control processes and ad-hoc queries to proactively identify anomalies and work with the implementation team on fixes or enhancements.

• Support operational reporting/dashboards on research and clinical trials for executive leadership.

Requirements

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Additional Preferences

• 1-3 years of relevant experience required.

• Experience with SQL is preferred.

• Experience working with EHR data is required.

• Research experience is required.
