Position Overview

This role will be responsible for monitoring and implementing regulatory HR compliance policies, practices, and procedures. They will provide compliance advice and verify any deficiencies or gaps as various laws are updated. They will develop reports to comply with various U.S. EEO requirements as well as other state and local requirements. They will lead the company’s U.S. immigration program with the advice from immigration and internal counsel.

Responsibilities

  • Liaison between Paylocity and immigration firms and agencies to oversee documentation required for employee visa application, and migration status, coordinate and be the point of contact with employees during the process.

  • Contributes to the development, review, testing, and administration of any compliance training, policy or process. Sets up and monitor acknowledgment reporting and notification process to ensure completion.

  • Audits policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company, federal, state, or local regulations and applicable employment law.

  • Reports to management on the compliance status on various legislation and compliance programs.

  • Partner with the Legal department as needed to ensure overall compliance for the company.

  • Completes data/document request from various federal and state regulatory entities.

Requirements

State the minimum education, experience, skills, and certifications/training required to successfully perform the job.

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Legal or equivalent work experience.

  • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, HR Compliance, Legal Quality Improvement.

  • Proven ability to define objectives, establish priorities, and perform multiple assignments simultaneously within defined procedures and deadlines.

  • Ability to work cooperatively and effectively across the corporate management structure.

  • Ability to research, understand and communicate complex and sometime cumbersome labor laws.

This role can be performed from any office in the US. The pay range for this position is $53,100 - $75,900/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined here.
