Saint-Gobain Fiber Sales Specialist, Eastern US - Remote, Chryso in Remote, United States

The Fiber Sales Specialist will take charge of driving sales and building a robust pipeline of opportunities. In this pivotal role, you will focus on influencing local, regional and national contractors and concrete subcontractors, and actively pursuing project-specific information to create a steady pipeline of opportunities, staying ahead of upcoming projects.

Essential Functions:

Drive Sales Through Key Influencers: Engage extensively with general contractors, specifiers, architects, engineers, and project owners to drive immediate and impactful sales results. Build strong relationships and leverage market knowledge to promote fiber solutions that enhance project outcomes and sustainability.

Pipeline Development: Actively pursue and chase project-specific information to create a steady pipeline of opportunities, staying ahead of upcoming projects.

Develop a network of Owners and Developers and help them meet their economic and sustainability goals with the use of fibers.

Engage internal stakeholders: Work with our Sales team, Technical Services, and Marketing departments to develop and implement go-to-market strategies that increase revenues and ensure targets are met and exceeded. Leverage sales tools to highlight the economic and sustainability benefits for contractors and concrete producers when replacing standard steel reinforcement systems with fibers.

Conduct Training: Work with our Engineer Service Group and Marketing department to develop training programs to support sales growth. Lead training sessions for contractors and customers, promoting product value propositions, cost, performance, safety and sustainability benefits to drive adoption. Conduct internal training to develop sales and technical groups awareness and expertise in fiber.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Relevant Field

  • 5 years of experience in sales or operational role in construction and concrete working with contractors and owners/general contractors.

  • Solid network of contractors from past experience even if from another sector of the construction industry.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Related Field

  • Professional Engineer Degree

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and influencing skills

  • Technical aptitude for construction products and their application

  • Ability to understand customers’ business needs and propose appropriate solutions working in collaboration with our Engineer Service Group

  • Time management with balance of prospecting, building and managing relationships.

  • Collecting and analyzing data concerning customer behavior to understand changing needs in the market.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Problem solving skills

  • Proficient with MS Office tools and CRM’s, project database platforms

  • A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong communication and customer relationship-building skills to maintain current business and acquire new customer requests.

Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees’ wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the national pay range for this position which is $120,000 to $140,000 per year, however the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job related knowledge, skills and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an sales incentive bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 10% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $132,000 to $158,000. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
