Applied Memetics LLC Contracts Administrator in Remote, United States
AM LLC has immediate openings for a Contracts Administrator to support state and federal government programs nationwide. No travel required. This position will begin immediately. Candidates will work remotely from a home office.
A successful candidate has a background contracts administration for a variety of government stakeholders. The candidate reports directly to the Director of Bid and Capture. They have exceptional attention to detail and ability to work with multiple channels of business and government in any given day.
Problem solve contracts-related issues
Manage company FOIA requests
Monitor contracts, manage extensions, renewals and closeouts.
Meet regularly with leadership and senior leadership to discuss strategy for post bid submission
Maintain and create internal databases for customer information and contracts
Implement language standards for existing and new contracts
Gathers market research on competitive pricing, approaches
Oversee all business operations relating to contracts, post-bid action reports and project implementation (contract management)
Design and monitor control systems; launch new work within contracts compliance
Communicate directly with future clients on behalf of the organization as initial point of contact
Prepare sales and purchase contracts
Execute contract terms with internal and external business partners
Review and update existing contracts
Ensure all deadlines and conditions described on contracts are met (e.g. payments, proof of insurance)
Educational and Professional Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, mathematics, accounting or economics, preferred.
2+ years of related experience as a contracts administrator, compliance manager, or similar position
Ability to exhibit a professional, positive attitude and work ethic
Experience with Excel
Proficiency in using Google Suite and MS SharePoint
Excellent organizational skills with ability to perform tasks with accuracy and precision
Ability to speak, read, and write English
Critical thinking and sound judgment required
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Proficiency with computers
Deep understanding of contracts, contract governance, contractual language and the contract lifecycle
Critical thinking skills and the ability to research and understand legal and financial implications
Superior reading, writing and language skills
Excellent understanding of the business or industry, its services, customers and providers
Proficient ability to detect errors and inconsistencies
Highly-analytical with strong attention to detail
