ACCOUNT MANAGER

JOB OVERVIEW:

TE Connectivity's Account Management Team is responsible for selling TE's products, systems or services, providing detailed technical product information and maintaining relationships with customers in assigned geographic territories, industries or accounts. Based in Denmark in a 100% remote position, the Account Manager will be responsible for the renewable energy market within the Nordic region. You will be responsible for developing the accounts with the relevant customer in order for TE to become a strategic partner and to increase revenue, account penetration and customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Identify and manage potential customers while monitoring market competition.

  • Develop pricing strategies and oversee product development.

  • Build strong customer relationships, aligning with their business goals to meet sales targets.

  • Contribute to product strategy and roadmap planning.

  • Provide sales and technical support, including training and presentations.

  • Define market potential and create strategic sales plans to increase market share.

  • Conduct market research and open new markets for our products.

  • Ensure distributors maintain proper stock levels and follow up with them regularly.

  • Develop inquiries, proposals, and quotations.

  • Estimate demand and create accurate sales forecasts.

  • Manage tendering and bidding processes.

  • Collaborate with advertising and public relations agencies to promote the product.

  • Meet or exceed sales targets and monitor sales performance.

  • Support the enhancement and growth of company sales.

  • Recommend the most suitable products for the company.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Over 4 years of experience in sales management and/or product management within an industrial environment.

  • Experience in the energy market is required; experience in renewable energy is highly desirable.

  • Proactive approach to sales development, consistently seeking new opportunities and driving growth

  • Proficiency in both Danish and English is essential.

  • Proven track record in developing and executing strategic plans.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong analytical skills, self-motivation, resilience, and ability to work effectively across regions and with cross-functional teams.

  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities in fast-paced environments.

  • Effective presentation and communication abilities.

  • Willingness to travel regularly; must possess a valid driver’s license.

  • Proficient in IT tools, including SalesForce, Excel, Tableau, and others.
