Job Description

We are looking for a Network Engineer to install, configure, and troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches, routers and associated technologies. This position will be full-time and r emote.

What You'll Do

• Ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot the following:

• Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches, routers and associated technologies

• Firewall technologies

• Routers used for internal routing, ISP connectivity.

• Enterprise wireless solutions

• Develop detailed functional specifications, design documents, and test plans

• Monitor network performance and integrity

• Consult regarding network performance, capacity, and scalability.

• Troubleshoot and resolve support issues with cloud and local infrastructure

• Consult with technical and business partners and serve as a consulting resource to support client-hosted installations and implementations

• Work cross-functionally with internal and external customers to define deliverables

• Support escalation incidents and support on-call duty requirements

• Interface with internal clients such as sales, service, and field staff as well as external clients to define deliverables

What You'll Need

Required

• Solid background in network administration and architecture.

• Strong knowledge and expertise on firewall vendors: Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet, Palo Alto etc.…

• Must have experience with the following: Cisco Enterprise Network, Networking in virtual platforms, Monitoring platforms, EIGRP/OSPF, GRE tunnels

• Multi-site/stretched datacenter environments

• Router configuration management

• TACACS and other authorization methods

• Device and networking hardening 802.1x

• Syslog

• BGP

The following certifications are desirable.

• CCNP

• CMNA

• PCNSA

Physical Demands

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions

• Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

• Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
