Fortive Corporation Senior Sales Representative LATAM in Remote, Panama

About the job

The Sales Representative is responsible for effectively increasing sales of division products by company policies. Ensure the formulation of billing objectives, product mix, and customer profitability for each territory, based on national goals. Additionally, you will provide product training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visit existing and potential clients, including hospitals, clinics, private senior centers, local health universities, diagnostic centers, and laboratories.

  • Key contacts in hospitals include negotiation and procurement managers.

  • Use appropriate sales techniques to benefit both the client and the company.

  • Plan sales techniques logically, precisely, honestly, convincingly, and feasibly.

  • Reflect a sincere desire to be helpful during each visit.

  • Emphasize the “quality” of the products.

  • Create needs, demonstrate product superiority, know when to conclude, manage orders, and ensure proper product utilization.

  • Work closely with top management and the Sales team.

  • Participate in bids/contracts to meet customer needs and achieve regional pricing goals.

  • Implement customer segmentation tools and contribute to proposal and contract development.

  • Adhere to local legal provisions in all business and sales activities.

  • Responsible for professional training activities related to product knowledge and best practices in the healthcare sector.

  • Plan work for maximum efficiency.

  • Analyze the situation of each hospital based on individual conditions.

  • Identify and sell to decision-makers or influencers.

  • Continuously explore the market for new clients.

  • Study sales potential by product lines per hospital using sales statistics.

  • Analyze differences between hospitals and strategize successful implementation of all product lines

  • Plan work schedules and schedule appointments in advance.

  • Prepare reports and provide useful information for business operations

  • Work relationships are one of the most important forms of contact with superiors. Therefore, it is essential to be prepared carefully and punctually.

  • Daily tasks will be progressively developed.

  • Immediately report any particular events and trend variations in the Territory that are considered detrimental to the Company’s well-being and progress.

  • Supervise competitors’ activities and any new competitor products

  • Maintain close contact with colleagues operating in the area to ensure an effective approach with the customer.

  • Promptly communicate complaints according to established procedures. If unable to address a complaint within the established guidelines, immediately inform the Head of the Product Department.

  • Responsible for communicating business-related problems or opportunities to the next managerial level.

  • Perform other assigned tasks as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in the medical device industry or medical field in similar roles.

  • Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent required in Administration, Engineering, Sales, Nursing, or Health areas.

  • Market knowledge: Deep knowledge of the reference market, products, customers, and competitors.

  • Knowledge of the Office package.

  • Knowledge of sales tools/commercial IT systems.

  • Knowledge of corporate commercial strategies.

  • English Intermediate level (B1).
