Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Sr. Global Trade Compliance Analyst, where you will be supporting the maintenance and continuous improvement of the trade compliance program at ASP! Serving as the subject matter expert on the interpretation of regulatory requirements for import and export activities in EMEA, you will monitor adherence to company trade compliance policies and procedures.

Location: Eindhoven/Remote, Netherlands

How you will contribute to ASP:

• Develop and maintain relevant policies, procedures and stand work documents as required to support the region.

• Provide support in the daily management of the company’s export control and sanctions program. Conduct educational training for internal and external stakeholders.

• Responsible for supervising and communicating trade compliance regulatory changes.

• Responsible for GTM export license management to include license applications when applicable.

• Help resolve GTM compliance holds, ensure trade data integrity and manage GTM generated trade documents.

• Supervise EMEA export and import processes to ensure compliance with internal requirements and regulations in the region.

• Work with and monitor third party providers to meet operational and compliance requirements to ensure timely and accurate import/export clearances in EMEA.

• Work with third party providers to perform HTS classification, country of origin certificate solicitation, value reconciliation, and other trade compliance responsibilities.

• Help to identify potential trade compliance risks and assist in the development of counter measures to mitigate impact. This effort will include developing compliance standard work and training materials.

• Responsible for metrics-KPIs reporting, dashboards and broker management. Help drive continuous improvements in operational execution and compliance levels.

• Support trade compliance internal audit processes.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

  What will make you thrive in this role:

• 3-5 years of customs, export, import and trade compliance experience.

• Working knowledge of EU and US export regulations related to denied party screening, export licensing, trade sanctions and embargoes.

• Advanced working knowledge of import/export process and requirements. Experience in analyzing and interpreting export and import rules and regulations.

• Detailed oriented and highly organized. Ability to multi-task several projects at once and problem solving.

• Knowledge of ECCN and EU Dual Use classification.

• Knowledge of HTS classification, duty savings programs, export licensing, country of origin determination and regulatory requirements.

• Direct experience working with global trade management software and business ERP’s.

• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Dutch. Russian language a plus.

• Experience in medical-life science industry is a plus.
