Role summary:

This role is pivotal in overseeing and managing our GMP reselling and support operations. Reporting directly to VP Tech & Analytics, as the Director of GMP Solutions you will be responsible for various aspects of our GMP division, including supporting sales, fostering relationships with the Google GMP team, and leading a team of consultants dedicated to client relationship management and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide strategic support to the sales team:

  • Collaborate with sales to identify potential clients and develop tailored strategies for approaching them.

  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify areas of opportunity for the GMP division.

  • Assist in the development of sales pitches and proposals to effectively communicate our value proposition to potential clients.

Cultivate and maintain relationships with Google GMP team:

  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders within the Google GMP team to ensure access to resources and support for our clients.

  • Stay informed about new features, updates, and best practices within the Google Marketing Platform ecosystem.

  • Act as a liaison between our organization and Google, advocating for our clients' needs and priorities.

  • Act as a point of escalation within client relationships for resolution management.

Lead and develop a team of consultants:

  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and coaching to help the team achieve their professional goals and deliver exceptional service.

  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to consultants to support their growth and development.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.

Drive revenue growth through upselling and maximizing media spending:

  • Identify opportunities to upsell additional services or solutions to existing clients based on their evolving needs and objectives.

  • Collaborate with consultants and sales to develop strategies for increasing media spending on Google's platforms.

  • Monitor client accounts and performance metrics to identify areas for optimization and increased investment.

Monitor market trends and identify growth opportunities:

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, changes in technology, and shifts in consumer behavior that may impact our clients' marketing strategies.

  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in the market.

  • Proactively seek out new business opportunities and partnerships that align with the goals and objectives of the GMP division.

Required Qualifications:

College Degree

Certifications:

  • Google Certifications in Campaign Manager 360, Search Ads 360 and Display & Video 360

Experience:

  • A minimum of 6 years' experience within the digital industry.

  • Experience as a paid media manager for a minimum of 2 years working within their paid media specialization.

  • Well-versed in performance marketing, yielding results for clients' investments, i.e. sales/lead conversion and omni-channel acquisition.

  • Experience in working directly with clients & commercial teams.

  • Experience presenting and pitching for business with strong presentation skills.

  • Illustrate strong relationships with Technology partners; Google, Meta, publishers etc.

  • Computer skills required: (Microsoft Office Suite; Google Suite, Project Management Software)

Demonstrated Competencies:

  • Well-versed in digital media management utilizing GMP, yielding results for clients' investments, i.e. sales/lead conversion and omni-channel acquisition.

  • Experience in working directly with clients & commercial teams.

  • Experience presenting and pitching for business with strong presentation skills.

  • Clear understanding of digital commercial models.

  • Experience with website analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)

  • Familiarity with measurement plans & tracking.

  • Computer skills required: (Microsoft Office Suite; Google Sheets/Docs/Slides, Project Management Software)

  • Meta Blueprint (Media Buying/Media Planning)

  • LinkedIn Certified Marketer (Marketing Strategy)

  • Proof of completion of TikTok for Business Modules

  • Twitter Flight School

  • Smartly (Ad Buying Foundational)

  • Google Tag Manager

  • The Trade Desk Edge Academy certifications etc

  • Experience with Meta Marketing Partners e.g. Smartly, ROI Hunter, Sprinklr etc.
