sa.global is looking for a motivated and skilled Power BI (Business Intelligence) Developer to join our dynamic consulting team in India!
Main Responsibilities as a Power BI Developer
Understand data relationship and using the data to design and develop effective visualizations and reports in Power BI Desktop, publishing to Power BI Web, and managing performance concerns
Create user-friendly and insightful Microsoft Power BI reports and visualizations based on technical specifications
Review and analyse business requirements and provide technical feasibility and estimates
Translate technical requirements into application code and modules
Participate in unit testing and work closely with the QA/Testing team
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely fashion, communicating updates as determined until the issue is resolved
Work closely with the team to help identify root cause and implement solutions to reduce recurring defects and issues
Skills and Experience
Minimum of 4+ years of experience working in an IT environment
Proven experience using MSBI Stack: SQL Development, SSIS, Analysis Services, Power BI
Hands-on experience in BI Dimensional Modelling using Star Schema
Bachelor degree or diploma in Engineering (BE/B Tech, BCA)
Relevant Microsoft certifications are preferred
Excellent business communication skills with effective presentation and demonstration skills
Strong learning orientation with regards to new technologies and implementing them
Self-starter and initiative taker
Strong analytical and detail-oriented skills
