REMOTE | DISTRIBUTION SALES MANAGER (M/W/D)

JOB OVERVIEW:

Distributor Market Managers (DMM) are responsible for increasing TE sales and market share through our distribution partners. This is achieved through intelligent use and prioritization of TE Channel, TE Business Unit and Distributor resources. This position is based in Germany (Full Remote) and reports to the Regional Sales Manager in Norway.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Promote TE products or services to our distributor branch network.

  • Calls on distributors providing technical and administrative product information and/or demonstrations.

  • Drive regional/country/territory/branch POS growth.

  • Distributor Single Point of contact for all TE products across different BU.

  • Grow TE Connectivity market share.

  • Manage branch execution of distributor business plans.

  • Prioritize based on market relevance.

  • Align priorities and local business plans with the distributor Sales Managers and General Managers.

  • Manage all market business reviews, driving accountability.

  • Manage the distributor branch opportunity funnel by conducting regular quote follow up with Distributors, TE Distributor Application Engineers and TE Sales Engineers.

  • Generate new demand and projects for TE products supporting distributors at end customers.

  • Manage distributor branch business processes (Coop, POS reporting/matching, etc).

  • Coach and develop the distributor business resources to utilize self-service tools.

  • Coordinate branch training plans across TE products portfolio to include TELC and face to face training sessions.

  • Engage with local TE BU sales teams to ensure TE plans/programs are consistently executed.

  • Drive Design Registration projects and overall branch opportunity funnel.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor degree in Business or Engineering

  • 3-5 years experience in sales, business development

  • Knowledge of the electronics components industry (Preferred)

  • English and German Language are Mandatory

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Strong results-orientation and execution mindset

  • Proven track record of building trustworthy relationships

  • Able to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders

  • Strong work ethic - willingness to roll up sleeves and do the work as part of a team

  • Strong organizational and planning skills
