GE Healthcare Clinical Sales Specialist in Remote, Illinois

Job Description Summary

As a Clinical Sales Specialist, you play a crucial role in our Patient Monitoring business. You help customers, including nursing and clinical leadership, understand the clinical benefits and utilization of our patient monitoring platforms, which are used throughout hospitals from Emergency Departments to ICUs, Telemetry, and Central monitoring units.

You partner with front line sales reps, Strategic Directors, and Clinical Informatics Directors to convey the value of GEHC's monitoring ecosystem beyond bedside use. You operate autonomously within standard sales practices, strategically positioning our Patient Monitoring portfolio.

You work across multiple markets and sales territories, collaborating with Product Sales Specialists, Strategic Directors, and other commercial teams. This role involves significant travel for customer and team engagements.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Understand patient monitoring overall, and the specifics the GEHC technology and patient monitoring ecosystem

  • Possess a deep understanding of nursing, preferably in ED, ICUs, or Telemetry

  • Demonstrate equipment capabilities on GE Patient Monitoring products

  • Understand competing patient monitoring platforms

  • Work in tandem with the regional team.

  • Provide clinical and strategic sales support to BDLs.

  • Support technical and commercial shows.

  • Penetrate high visibility competitive accounts

  • Communicate market intelligence back to the Global and Patient Monitoring teams, along with field concerns, issues, and requirements.

  • Provide leadership in market analysis and development/execution of strategies and action plans to drive Patient Monitoring sales.

  • Prospect for new KOL customers and business in addition to growing and maintaining our existing customer portfolio.

  • Develop relationships with third-party PCS device companies

  • Maintain strong working relationships with third-party representatives.

  • Work with Patient Monitoring team to develop content, mentor, and deliver training to enhance the skills of the clinical team.

  • Develop long-term customer relationships coupled with the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities that immediately satisfy customer needs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Required Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college and 4 years of clinical experience preferably as a Critical Care Nurse

  • Excellent Patient Monitoring Solutions product and connectivity understanding.

  • Knowledge and understanding of current healthcare market trends.

  • Superior interpersonal communication skills with exceptional professional disposition and demeanor

  • Demonstrated successful experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as part of a solution-based sales product portfolio and service experience.

  • Ability to develop and execute priorities and approaches to meet objectives.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Strong sales, clinical and technical expertise working in PCS Monitoring Solutions.

  • Experienced in demonstrating products and solutions to a variety of healthcare audiences.

  • Entrepreneurial thinking to support customers and commercial teams in defined goal for strategic presentations and demonstrations including clinical evaluations.

  • Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to communicate to internal and external customers at all levels.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
