Job Description Summary

The Modality Manager MR define and execute the overall MR strategy in UK&I, part of the International Region, to deliver the operational plan. They have direct responsibility and accountability over positioning, pricing and profitability for the modality in order to drive growth in terms of market share, orders, revenues, margin and customer satisfaction.

This includes the development of a localised marketing strategy for the modality, in coordination with the International Modality Team and its execution at the local level.

They manage a team of Modality Sales specialists in charge of selling their modality in their given area, and Modality expertise through Sales Specialists.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

Sales:

  • Develop and execute Sales strategy to meet quarterly and annual targets for orders, revenues and margin

  • Strongly coordinates at LCT level to ensure aligned forecast & business execution for the modality

  • Define the local modality portfolio strategy within the International framework, including pricing, positioning and configuration management

  • Sets Communicates effectively with members of sales, service and marketing team to maximize all sales potential and communicate leads to relevant colleagues.

  • Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with healthcare stakeholders, including hospitals, radiology practices, and imaging centres

  • Ensure knowledge of and compliance with Company policies and quality processes.

  • Maintain effective Quality System compliant with all applicable standards and regulations.

  • Fully comply with EHS local regulations and GEHC requirements.

  • Be involved in EHS activities to contribute for safer working conditions, to protect your own Health and Safety as well as that of other workers, the public and the environment

Marketing:

  • Analyse and follow up of local market (needs, competition, prices, share etc.)

  • Market Growth: Identify and cultivate leads to grow market share and increase orders & revenues

  • Track market effectively and provide accurate current and forecast data using information tools available

  • Communicate market information effectively to/from the field including competitor data.

  • Responsible for transmitting appropriate market information to the International MR Marketing team

  • As the interface between Zone/Market and International marketing, they define the marketing strategy with the International Modality team (Customer Segmentation & targets, campaigns, exhibitions, prices, products, sales tools, etc.) and communicates to the sales force.

Team Management:

  • Lead cross-functional teams to orchestrate deals and long-term plans

  • Coordinates, coaches, provides Customer relationship support to sales specialists rep reporting to him/her

  • Ensure right level of Sales Specialists Competencies thru trainings in on products offering, Pricing, customer satisfaction, etc.

  • Set Customer priorities: targeted customers, product demonstration, site visits and follow up

  • Coordinates tender responses and validations of tender documentation in collaboration with Imaging Radiology Account Managers and Executive Account Managers

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Extensive experience & proven track record in a sales/marketing position in Medtech is desired, preferably in the radiology/imaging space

  • Marketing experience appreciated

  • A minimum level of technical knowledge and understanding of MRI is required

  • Clinical knowledge is a plus
