We actively seek a HR Generalist resident. This is a remote role that can be based anywhere in the US.

Position Summary

The HR Generalist role provides support to internal clients, supporting key business initiatives and ensuring maximum organizational effectiveness. This individual will also assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining human resources policies and programs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Partners with employees, managers and HR Business Partners in employee relations, project management, and HR administration

  • Owns HR ticket system and HR Mailbox from receipt to resolution

  • Owns reporting and metrics monthly dashboards to include turnover, recognition reports, promo reports, and adhoc reports

  • Partners with Human Resource Business Partners on creation of and tracking employee change requests and approvals to completion

  • Owns new hire check-in points and provide analysis to HR leadership

  • Trains newly hired and newly promoted people managers on the Performance Management System and the Managers Toolkit

  • Collaborates in developing department goals and objectives which align with the overall HR strategy

  • Administers company leave programs such as Short-Term Disability, FMLA, Military, and Personal Leaves of Absence. Ensures compliance with federal, state and local employments laws as well as consistency in the application of leave programs.

  • Conducts initial intake meetings with employees and managers to identify concerns or complaints involving workplace conduct, performance issues, policy violations, harassment allegations and other complaints.

  • Partners with HR Operations team on input in developing HR content for website

  • Conduct exit interviews and lead offboarding process

Minimal Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience

Experience

  • 3-5 years

Skills

  • Solid knowledge of employment law, knowledge of CA employment law highly preferred

  • Strong computer skills

  • Strong HRIS skills, ADP and Workday experience highly preferred

  • Prior global HR experience with EMEA, APAC and LATAM regions beneficial

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize workload

  • Ability to analyze data

  • Must be able to manage highly confidential information

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to be extremely detail oriented while also focusing on the big picture

  • High level of tactical skills and the ability to work across all levels of the organization in a matrixed, team environment
