What you'll do... :
Play an important role on an exciting and rapidly growing new division with the world’s largest tax preparation company. As a representative of H&R Block U.S. Expat Tax Services, you are responsible for providing U.S. tax services to U.S. citizens and residents living outside the United States. You are responsible for managing a client list generating between $110,000 and $150,000 in annual revenue. 1. Analyze tax information provided by expatriate tax clients to prepare complete and accurate tax returns for U.S. taxpayer clients. Follow internal guidelines for review and referral of tax returns. 2. Manage engagements of 275-400 expat tax clients during the tax season while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. 3. Assist clients that are out of compliance with their U.S. income tax and account reporting requirements to participate in disclosure programs offered by the IRS. 4. Leverage internal resources to resolve unclear tax issues presented by clients. 5. Assist in transitioning acquired clients to H&R Block brand. Develop or leverage prior global experience, education, or insights to build rapport and provide a well-rounded service to clients in devoted country/countries. 6. Remain current with company policies and procedures related to tax preparation and offering other financial products. 7. Attend training required for the position. Develop high-level knowledge of foreign tax and financial systems in devoted country/countries to enhance client experience. Read other business and tax publications, as recommended by management. 8. Other duties, as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related degree; 2+ years of expat tax preparation or similar tax experience; Strong verbal and written communication skills; Ability to communicate tax and financial advice clearly and effectively with the public in a variety of situations including but not limited to phone, email and videoconference calls with expat clients; CPA, JD, or EA designation Preferred Qualifications Prior experience working in a customer service environment; Foreign language capabilities.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or the equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience.
Work Experience:
2 years Minimum related work experience
Circular 230 credentials (Enrolled Agent, CPA, or Attorney) or willing to obtain within one year of employment.
Ability to communicate tax and financial advice clearly and effectively with the public in a variety of situations including but not limited to public speaking engagements.
Excellent interpersonal skills to include oral and written communication.
