NVIDIA Infrastructure Specialists team seeks an HPC/AI Infiniband Network Engineer to help customers realize next-generation data center networks. You'll join a team working around the globe to build and deploy some of the most ground breaking data center solutions in the world! This role will focus on automation and logical configuration of network devices and customer networks. We work with customers of all sizes from small networks up to the world's largest and most sophisticated data centers and supercomputers. HPC Network Engineers deliver the technologies, solutions and services customers need to efficiently implement and run their networks. In this role, they are "The face of NVIDIA to the customer," working in fast-paced, high-impact environments as meaningful contributors delivering on our commitments.
What you'll be doing:
Primary responsibilities will include building and validating AI/HPC infrastructure for new and existing customers.
Support operational and reliability aspects of large-scale AI clusters with a focus on performance at scale, real-time monitoring, logging and alerting.
Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services as domain expert—from inception and design through deployment, operation, and refinement.
Create and handover related documentation and perform knowledge transfers required to support customers as they roll out some of the most sophisticated systems in the world.
Participate in continuous improvement processes to internal teams such as opening bugs, documenting workarounds, and suggesting enhancements.
What we need to see:
5+ years of experience with InfiniBand.
Experience in solving problems in large-scale InfiniBand network environments.
Driven focus on customer needs and satisfaction.
Self-motivated with excellent leadership skills.
Strong written, verbal, and listening skills are essential.
Proven customer-facing expertise.
Ability to travel to customer sites within the United States.
Minimum of a four-year degree from an accredited university or college in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Linux or networking certifications.
Experience with High Performance Computing and AI architectures.
Understanding of how job schedulers (Slurm, PBS) work.
Proven knowledge of Python or Bash.
Infrastructure Specialist's delivery experience.

The base salary range is 116,000 USD - 230,000 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
