Job Description

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist II to join our ambitious and world-class team. As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will play a critical role in facilitating the uninterrupted flow of raw materials from processing sites to finished goods manufacturing sites. Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and monitor monthly invoices from BioContinental on monthly expenses.

  • Coordinate supply purchases for blood processing, including blood bags, coolers, etc.

  • Schedule and coordinate monthly contract manufacturer meetings as required.

  • Collect and analyze field operations data to monitor important measurements and discover areas for improvement.

  • Coordinate material logistics from abattoir to exportation.

  • Support and follow-up with current suppliers and abattoirs on Supplier Quality Agreements and Adherence.

  • Assist contract manufacturer by purchasing indirect materials and services.

  • Check training files bi-monthly for accuracy and completeness of records.

  • Maintain traceability documentation.

  • Support PPI initiatives.

  • Perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of proven experience in production or supply chain planning.

  • English proficiency.

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain, or equivalent experience.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel.

  • Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems preferred.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization and customers.
