BECU Manager Sales Compensation in Remote, Arizona

PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $142,800.00-$174,400.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $111,000.00 - $206,200.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

Employees have access to disability and AD&D insurance. We also offer health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts, as well as health savings accounts, to eligible employees. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan and employer-funded retirement plan. Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE :

As the Manager of Sales Compensation, you’ll directly contribute to BECU’s success by ensuring that our sales compensation programs are not only aligned with our corporate strategy but also motivate and retain top talent. Your efforts will impact the way we attract and reward employees, ensuring that every incentive and compensation initiative supports the growth and effectiveness of the entire organization. You’ll have the opportunity to create processes that drive performance while also fostering an inclusive and empowering environment for your team. WHAT YOU’LL DO :

  • Lead Sales Compensation Design: You’ll manage the design and administration of BECU’s overall sales incentive programs for both employees and leaders, ensuring that they’re impactful and aligned with organizational goals.

  • Collaborate with Business Leaders: You’ll advise business leaders on all things sales compensation, offering strategic solutions that support their objectives while maintaining alignment with the broader compensation strategy.

  • Drive Sales Incentive Planning: You’ll oversee the annual sales incentive plan design process, ensuring it supports business needs while staying competitive and motivating.

  • Ensure Accurate Compensation Calculations: You’ll ensure the accurate and timely calculation of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales incentives, maintaining a high level of efficiency and precision.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: You’ll work closely with the Base Compensation team and other HR functions, contributing to key initiatives that benefit the entire organization.

  • Coaching and Mentoring: You’ll provide ongoing coaching and development to your team, helping them grow professionally and ensuring they’re empowered to reach their full potential. You’ll conduct annual performance reviews to guide their success.

  • Compliance Oversight: You’ll maintain advanced knowledge of federal, state, and local laws regarding sales incentive compensation, ensuring BECU stays compliant with all legal requirements.

  • Market Trends and Recommendations: You’ll stay up-to-date with industry trends and sales compensation best practices, making recommendations to leadership to enhance our programs and stay competitive in the market.

  • Ensure Alignment with Credit Union Policies: You’ll ensure all sales compensation practices are aligned with BECU’s policies, procedures, and values, supporting the organization’s overall goals.

  • Additional Responsibilities: You’ll be flexible and take on additional duties as needed, contributing to the success of the team and the organization as a whole.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in business or human resources or equivalent work or educational experience.

  • Typically requires 8 years of experience in the Sales Compensation field, such as commission or incentive calculation, incentive plan design or modeling.

  • Typically requires 4 years of experience leading sales incentive plan design projects.

  • Typically requires 1 year of leadership experience.

Desired Qualifications :

  • Advanced degree.

  • Experience partnering with business leaders influencing change, communicating concepts, and explaining analysis.

  • Understanding of sales compensation concepts.

  • Demonstrated conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Advanced-level Excel.

  • Ability to take initiative, drive project work, and complete work within established deadlines.

  • Ability to prepare and present professional level presentations to senior leaders.
