Insurance Specialist Location: Remote Duration: 6 months Job Description: Under the direction of the department manager, the person in this position is responsible for acting in the most timely, efficient and responsible manner to protect the interest of the investors pursuant to the mortgages serviced for them. The duties specifically relate to all insurance matters. This is accomplished within the parameters of individual investor guides, Pooling and Servicing Agreements, applicable law and the mortgage documents. Experience: 3+ years of experience in Insurance Mortgage and in Closing. Prepared all loan closing documents and ensured accuracy for fully compliant mortgage loans. Analyzed all documents for any errors and confirmed that pricing and programs were correct to ensure the loan would be funded. Strong ability to successfully navigate complex investor guides, Pooling and Servicing Agreements, and mortgage documents to ensure timely and efficient protection of investors' interests. Well versed in applicable laws and regulations for Insurance effectively manage insurance matters and mitigate risk in the mortgage servicing industry. Skills: Loan Documentation Insurance Audits and Vendor management. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
