About the Role

As an experienced Dynamics 365 Technical Architect, you are responsible for the design and implementation of D365 Finance and Supply Chain Management (SCM) integrations. You develop processes and standards, ensuring the quality of delivery is in scope across all team members.   • Producing high-level and low-level integration/technical designs & diagrams.

  • Define and enforce development process and standards, such as code branches, build pipelines, and package design.

  • Ensure that sa.global and Microsoft best practice is followed in all technical areas.

  • Ensure technical and commercial compliance (e.g., licences, ISV usage in production).

  • Size change requests according to the small, medium, or large approach.

  • Ensure the client is kept aware of their support time window (One Version) and advise them of a viable upgrade strategy to ensure they remain supported.

  • Keep to budget and escalate variances in good time.

  • Be a single point of contact.

  • Liaise with Microsoft and sa.global product teams where required (including MS FastTrack and equivalent teams).

  • Advise the client on changes around LCS (for F&O) or environment management, and advise them on potential cost savings through optimised environment usage.

  • Proactively keep the client appraised of forthcoming Microsoft changes in their environments, including new features and deprecated features, and provide advice on how to mitigate risk.

  • Always represent the business professionally and positively.

  • Ongoing commitment to continuous professional development; complete relevant certifications/development in a timely manner.

  • Carry out additional, reasonable duties as may occur from time to time as instructed by your manager or members of senior management.

Skills and Experience:

  • Strong development experience with Dynamics 365 F&O and Dynamics AX, with a proven track record of quality delivery.

  • Solid understanding of F&O development concepts around extensibility, packages, models.

  • Solid understanding of F&O functionality so that the technical impact of customisations can be properly assessed, and the right solution can be delivered.

  • Strong knowledge of the latest IT systems, legislation, and best practice.

  • Ability to describe technical issues or choices to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Provide technical support to enable the extraction of data for analysis.

  • Provide guidance and recommendations for improvement to existing systems.

  • Demonstrated experience of being involved throughout the lifecycle of implementations.
