What You’ll Get to Do
CACI is looking for a Systems Administrator with strong Linux and cloud administration skills in support of the US Marine Corps. The position will be a remote position with possible travel to customer site a few times annually.
What You'll Get to Do :
Collaboratively administer and maintain mission critical systems for its users. This includes development, testing and production environments.
Be a contributing member of a technical team of System Administrators and DBAs in support of system and software development activities.
Collaborate with development, cybersecurity, and test teams to maintain the application release schedule.
Perform Linux system administration tasks including troubleshooting issues, patching, and hardening in all supported environments.
Collaborate with technical team to build automated software releases and patching.
Build out, configure, and administer servers and network devices under direction of the system architect to support a new cloud-based hosting environment.
Provide technical expertise, be highly self-directed and motivated, and collaborate respectfully with their teammates, always keeping user mission first.
Be part of a responsive team where communication skills and the ability to solve problems are critical to our success.
Work with highly motivated teammates that will support you and expect reciprocal support.
Provide support to test, integration, and deployment of the software baseline.
Be self-motivated understanding technical concepts, have good communication skills, and able and willing to collaborate on technical items with the larger team.
Be familiar with the good development and configuration management practices and have previous development experience.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications :
Must have active DoD Secret clearance or higher.
Bachelor’s degree (preferable IT-related), 5+ years’ experience in systems administration, or equivalent combination to reflect knowledge and experience.
Experience with Linux and general knowledge of administering servers in cloud and hosted VM environments.
Basic understanding of IP networking and protocols.
Experience administering cloud-based services for development and/or production environments.
Experience building and maintaining environment using Infrastructure-as-a-Code (Iac) such as Terraform.
Experience mitigating cybersecurity vulnerabilities identified from ACAS scans or STIG checks.
Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills to facilitate team interaction and support system documentation.
Possess certifications that meet or exceed DoD 8140 IAT Level II requirements (ex. CompTIA Security+).
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience supporting software development for USMC-based projects.
Experience with DevOps processes and tools.
System administration certifications, preferably for Linux-based environments (ex. Linux+ or RHCSA).
Possession of an active Top Secret security clearance.
Proficiency with version control tools (e.g., Git) on a multi-person development team.
Knowledge of systems engineering activities and process improvement approaches strongly desired.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$68,400-$143,700
