What You’ll Get to Do:
As the PMO Data Analyst, you will be a member of the Program Management Operations (PMO) office on the CDM DEFEND Group A (DHS) program. You will work collaboratively across program teams to compile and analyze data, primarily financial related.
Manage and Track Program Data
Track and report current funding levels across projects and multiple funding sources and CLIN types (e.g. Labor, Travel, Tools, and ODCs) and report on timelines for funding needs, urgency, type of money, etc.
Support and provide recommendations for schedule of funding modifications, including prioritization and timing based on multiple factors
Collaborate with program Finance team on monthly forecast reporting as an input to data analysis and triggers for action
Support compiling data for program performance metrics (award fee) and monthly reports.
Funding Report/Tracker
Prepare Reports and Provide in Final Format for Delivery
Create reports and dashboards that effectively display complex data in a simple, easy-to-understand manner to various audiences.
Monthly Tool Forecast
Monthly Tool/ODC and Labor Invoice Tabs
Monthly Finance Award Fee Report
Collaborate with Senior Leadership and Communicate Data
Provide sound and data-driven business insights, collaborating with individual contributors and up to senior leadership
Proactively identify and resolve issues without disruption to overall business flow
Analyze project and program financial data for trends and provide advanced notification and communication regarding any triggers for action (e.g. funding needs, urgency, cost estimate re-baselines, etc.)
Document Existing Processes and Optimize
Identify opportunities to consolidate and align entry of data to reduce redundancy and improve consistency and efficiency of reporting
Identify appropriate means of communicating process or standard updates to the appropriate audience
Manage Finance Teams site
- Prepare documents for official posting/delivery, internal instructions, operating policies, procedures, and guidelines concerning assigned area, and effectively communicate information
Manage Finance Milestones
- Track Finance milestones and status of action tracking, data calls, and deadlines
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Must successfully obtain a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Entrance on Duty suitability
U.S. Citizenship Required
Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS)
5+ years of related experience
Experience supporting Government customers
Experience compiling and analyzing complex and nuanced data
Experience using data to create useful and relevant dashboards or reports
Experience tracking and analyzing cost data and metrics
Experience coordinating and collaborating across functional areas to support understanding, consensus, and cooperation
Experience with MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:
Knowledge of program/project management best practices and standards (PMI)
Knowledge of relevant or industry CSI practices and standards (e.g. ISO, Lean, etc.)
Well-developed research skills
Experience with, MS Visio, Project, and SharePoint
Excellent presentation development and briefing skills
Familiarity with CACI processes and systems
Relevant DHS focused experience
Consistently demonstrate professional, positive, and approachable attitude/demeanor.
Ability to work with a diverse group of people of different skills, backgrounds, and organizations and management levels

Since this position can be worked in more than one location, the range shown is the national average for the position.
The proposed salary range for this position is:
$62,200-$130,600
