Applied Materials Experienced DevOps Engineer in Rehovot, Israel
We are looking for an Experienced DevOps Engineer to join our growing team to support and deliver Applied Materials products and applications
What’s in it for you?
As DevOps engineer you will be tasked to lead, architect, and develop technical solutions for various on premise and Cloud based requirements, containers orchestration platforms, application integration, including machine learning and deep learning solutions.
Knowing a wide range of technologies in term of vertical and horizontal breadths, you will optimize, enhance, and support applications in the design and deploy of scalable and high availability solutions.
You will also be responsible for the overall technical design, pertaining to the infrastructure elements, integration, connectivity, and hosting.
Our group:
The Delivery pipeline group responsible for the company products SDLC
Build and manage our Build & Tests Pipelines (CI/CD)
Design and develop cloud solutions and migrations
Provide DevOps and Automation support
Continuous monitoring of the quality of our code (code analysis, code coverage, test automation etc.)
DevOps culture advocates across the organization
Key Responsibilities
R&D team Focal Point for the product DevOps aspects
Build and maintain the product delivery flows
Learn and implement new tools and technologies

Skills and Experience
3-5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
Experience with CI/CD system such as Jenkins & Azure DevOps pipelines.
Experience with DevOps tools such as GIT, Bitbucket, Nexus, Artifactory.
Strong technical background with Scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell, Groovy).
Experience with Java code programming language and build such as Gradle or Maven.
Advanced experience with Linux administration, Deployment and debugging.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High technical capabilities and analytical skills
Experience with Cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
Configuration Management tools and Infrastructure as Code: (HELM, Terraform, Ansible).
System monitoring and centralized logging platform (Prometheus, ELK, Grafana).
Ability to write documents specs, maintenance procedures.
Sense of urgency and the ability to work under pressure and deliver projects on time.
Self-motivated, approachable, and adaptable.
Advantages:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent Engineering degree.
Experience with Installing and managing Kubernetes environments (OpenShift, EKS, AKS, Vanilla).
ESXI, switches, storage (NetApp), networking.
Knowledge and experience in multiple platforms – Linux, Windows, VMWare, AWS, Azure.
Experience with K8s Service Mesh technology and tools
Experience with installing and maintaining databases such as Elastic, SQL server, Mongo, PostgreSQL.
Knowledge and Experience with webservers software – Nginx/Apache.
