Joon Georgia Inc. (Ajin Georgia) Purchasing Cost and Data Analyst in Register, Georgia
- Analyze material costs and equipment and tool expenses related to the new manufacturing plant ;
- Evaluate cost structures and pricing models from suppliers to identify opportunities for cost reduction;
- Prepare detailed reports on purchasing costs, including variance analysis and budget forecasting;
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels to ensure alignment with production schedules and minimize excess stock or shortages;
- Assess inventory turnover rates and develop strategies to optimize inventory management and reduce carrying costs;
- Review production plans and output volumes to align purchasing activities with manufacturing needs;
- Analyze logistics and supply chain data to assess the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of transportation and distribution;
- Identify areas for improvement in logistics processes to reduce costs and enhance delivery performance;
- Calculate total purchasing costs, including direct and indirect expenses, and integrate them into cost models for financial analysis;
- Develop and present cost-related insights and recommendations to management for strategic decision-making;
- Maintain accurate records of purchasing data, inventory levels, and cost analyses in the companys data management systems;
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to provide insights and updates on purchasing costs and inventory management;
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, material prices, and emerging technologies that could impact purchasing strategies;
- Analyze market data to forecast future cost trends and adjust purchasing strategies as needed;and
- Identify and recommend process improvements related to purchasing, inventory management, and cost analysis.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or other closely related field of study;
- Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and cost structures;
- Proficiency in data collection, management, and interpretation;
- Knowledge of statistical methods and data analysis techniques;
- Knowledge of logistics, procurement processes, and inventory management; and
- Skills in handling business systems, such as SAP and ERP.
