Philips Transport Planner in Reedsville, Pennsylvania

Transportation Planner

The ultrasound transportation planner will be based in Reedsville, PA and responsible for outgoing shipments to our customers all over the world.

Your role:

  • You will be one of the transportation planners of all ultrasound shipments globally

  • You will be responsible for SAP transactions, verifying export requirements, daily communication with our carriers, and coordinating pick-ups

  • You will be collaborating with our 3PL where finished goods will ship from

  • You must be able to provide ideation around freight expense reduction

You're the right fit if:

  • You’ve acquired 2+ years of experience in Logistics

  • Your skills include… SAP experience, TMS experience, export requirements, and logistics experience with freight forwarders

  • You have a high school diploma; associates degree preferred

  • You have 2+ years’ experience in the field and have advanced knowledge of MS Office specifically excel

  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

  • You’re a team player, excellent verbal and oral communication and customer focused.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This is on-site in Reedsville.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position in Reedsville, PA is $56,000 to $96,000.

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.  

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
