SUPPLIER QUALITY INSPECTOR - STARLINK AVIATION (1ST SHIFT) RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform documentation review and verification of certifications, specifications, and conformance to design and specification requirements Perform incoming inspection of parts, visual and/or dimensional per design and specification requirements Approve or reject items and documents based on inspection results as required Communicate with internal customers and suppliers to resolve inspection discrepancies, documentation issues, and packaging damage Support quality management system policies and procedure documentation, assess compliance to company and industry standards, initiate and lead continual improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalency certificate 2+ years of receiving, precision, or metrological inspection experience PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: 2+ years of inspection experience in a manufacturing environment Utilizes inspection equipment such as micrometers and calipers Experience working with material review board and root cause/corrective action systems Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing priorities and tasks as delegated Practical experience working within quality management systems (AS9100 and ISO 9001) Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications using ASME Y14.5 ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to lift 25 lbs. unassisted Willingness to work overtime and weekends when needed to meet critical deadlines COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: Pay range: Level 1: $25.00 - $33.00/hour Level 2: $30.00 - $39.00/hour Level 3: $35.00 - $45.00/hour Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience. Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
