We are the Azure Customer Experience (CXP) team, and we are looking for a Senior Program Manager to join our team to help drive the next generation of our customer care, trust, reliability, engagement, and observability experiences.

We are part of the Azure engineering organization and consider great customer experience critical to the overall success of Azure. We create, define, and lead product offerings that set our customers up for success, empower them to solve problems, and ensure they have a phenomenal experience if they need support. We empower 200+ product groups across Azure with apps, platforms, intelligent insights, and all the capabilities needed to enable consistent and excellent customer experiences across Azure services.

Responsibilities

Customer Engagement

  • Collaborate with leading edge strategic ISVs and promising startups worldwide.

  • Partner with engineering colleagues to help ISVs and startups deploy secure, scalable solutions on Azure.

  • Manage communication and service improvements focused on quality, resiliency, and security.

  • Provide timely guidance to customers alongside engineers for application planning, building, and deployment on Azure.

  • Analyze feedback to inform product development and advocate for ISV and startup needs.

  • Evaluate and approve project-based engagements based on criteria, focus, and impact.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate across teams, geographies, and roles to drive meaningful actions and influence strategy.

  • Manage key stakeholder relationships to align on technical and business priorities.

Customer Focus and Data-Driven Improvement

  • Gather and analyze data to identify opportunities for improving customer experience and platform quality.

  • Maintain a high bias for action to influence outcomes and develop scalable strategies.

  • Focus on enhancing the ISV and startup customer experience on the Azure platform.

Inclusive Team Environment

  • Foster a supportive and inclusive team atmosphere.

  • Promote open collaboration, direct feedback, and transparency.

Strategic Planning and Alignment

  • Plan capacity and prioritize workstreams.

  • Align team efforts with organizational Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).

  • Partner with engineering to drive Key Initiatives and Projects.

  • Identify, propose, and drive experiments and pilots to move the team and Microsoft forward as the platform of choice for ISV and startups.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years of experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development

  • 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check:

  • This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis,

  • OR product development

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 4+ years of experience manage complex, cross-functional initiatives with a focus on quality, efficiency, and innovation.

Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
