Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer you will:

  • Continually innovate on the software development lifecycle.

  • Design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions that meet client requirements and industry standards.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using best practices.

  • Conduct thorough testing of software to ensure optimal functionality and performance.

  • Debug and resolve technical issues reported by users and other stakeholders.

  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with the team.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in Object Oriented languages including, but not limited to, C++, C#, or Java

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 1+ years of experience with distributed systems.

  • 1+ years of experience writing test infrastructure.

Other Requirements

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check:

  • This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with serch technologies.

  • Experience with multithreading and cloud based distributed systems.

  • Experience of operational excellence and continuous operational improvement.

Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $98,300 - $193,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $127,200 - $208,800 per year.
