Microsoft Azure Information Protection (AIP) is a data labeling, classification, and protection platform that spans multiple desktop and mobile operating systems to enable enterprises to secure their data. The platform comprises of client SDKs on various operating systems (including Windows, Mac/iOS, Android, Linux) and high-scale SaaS services that are deployed within many Azure Data Centers across the globe.

Typical responsibilities include responding to email, collaborating with other teams to design and plan feature work, collaborating with team members to complete quarterly deliverables, writing tests, coding features, and working with customer support to resolve any outstanding customer issues.


Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of industry experience developing software using an object-oriented language.

  • Strong technical abilities with design, coding, testing, and debugging. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with other groups and disciplines.

  • Experience with programming in C++, C#, Objective-C, and/or Java.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience writing SaaS apps on Public Clouds.

  • Experience developing products within the cyber-security industry.

  • Experience with designing and implementing multi-threaded systems.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
