The Puget Sound GWS Team is looking for an energetic, passionate, and analytical person to take on the role of Senior Program Manager, Dining & Event Operations.
In this role, you will work on directing complex dining services for Microsoft in the Puget Sound region, as well as innovative and high-impact business projects. You will engage with our internal business partners, industry specialists and strategic vendors to further foster innovation, while leading with influence for the Puget Sound Dining program disciplines. These businesses operate at significant scale, serving tens of thousands of people daily, and Dining & Event services include: food, beverage, catering, event planning, conference center services, retail shops/services, and planning (design, construction, portfolio curation, service level optimization) of associated spaces.
This is an opportunity to manage all aspects of these businesses, from day-to-day operations to long-term planning, budgeting and financial reporting. Additionally, you will collaborate on dining and retail shops/services projects, influencing the alignment with corporate and local code, standards and requirements, while also working with our employee base, executives, and our local communities.

Responsibilities
Oversee the outsourced food services scope of work (SOW), including supplier performance management, program financial oversight (operating expense/capital expenditure budgets, POs, etc.), project delivery, and driving overall departmental alignment with Microsoft and GWS priorities.
Manage stakeholder relationships at varying levels within and outside of Microsoft, as well as proactively partner with onsite operational teams (facilities, logistics, security, HR, etc.) to deliver connected, accessible, sustainable, and secure spaces and services.
Business and operational management of all vendors both onsite and offsite.
Proactively and independently create complex business strategies, and apply them down, across, and up Microsoft.
Develop and manage annual operating expenses and capital budgets.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive reporting system and tools to inform strategic decision-making.
Build and maintain an effective network of new and existing suppliers, including identifying and establishing viable alternative sources of supply.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data analytics solutions that optimize resource allocation, improve operational performance, and support capacity forecasting.
Define success criteria and performance metrics for critical programs.
Develop relationships with business partners and clients as a trusted RE&F leader by providing subject matter specialty and leadership to deliver successful outcomes for the company.
Build and maintain peer connections and alignment with other RE&F regions, Procurement, Legal, Finance and our Global Center led teams.
Lead with trust, inclusion and valuing diverse perspectives and ideas.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or degree equivalent in Business Administration (BBA), Finance, Engineering, Architecture, Construction/Project Management, Technology, Design, or related field AND 8+ years multinational corporate environment experience
OR Master's Degree or degree equivalent in Business Administration (MBA), Finance, Engineering, Architecture, Construction/Project Management, Technology, Design, or related field AND 6+ years multinational corporate environment experience
OR equivalent experience.
Experience in supplier management (e.g. method of delivery, quality of service, pricing and reporting), financial analysis and budget processes, contract administration and proposal processes, procurement principles, vendor quality and productivity criteria and optimal practices.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or degree equivalent in Business Administration (BBA), Finance, Engineering, Architecture, Construction/Project Management, Technology, Design, or related field AND 9+ years multinational corporate environment experience
OR equivalent experience.
Educational background in food service/hospitality management, project management, finance or engineering and 6+ years of experience in areas directly relevant to the responsibilities of this role.
Proven financial and analytical experience, as well as project, program, and entrepreneurial management.
Interpersonal skills with an ability to influence, collaborate and communication across all levels of the organization; influence and collaborate across groups and build virtual teams.
Experience leading Food Services, Catering, Event Management, Beverage Services, Innovation and Sustainability.
Microsoft technology platforms.
Café/food service design principles.
Experience managing fast-paced, large-scale portfolios and complex partnership and real estate landscapes.
Experience in sustainable food service practices and facility operational impact.
Experience working with local and diverse suppliers, brand partnerships and supply chains.
Facilities and Workplace Services IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $115,000 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $146,200 - $219,200 per year.
