Microsoft Corporation Senior Program Manager, Compete in Redmond, Washington

Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) is seeking a Senior Program Manager, Compete to support its Cloud Infrastructure Acquisition organization (CIA). CO+I is responsible for planning, building and operating Microsoft’s cloud infrastructure datacenters across the globe. The organizational scope includes demand and supply planning, business operations and strategic acquisition and prepositioning across land, power, and networking.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to create executive slides and develop crisp messaging for executive leaders to clarify strategy. and outcomesleveraging excellent interpersonal and group dynamic skills.

  • Make recommendations to strategy based on key learnings from market trends, independently creating and mapping solutions to customer requirements and environment.

  • Interface with internal stakeholders to gain necessary information to provide updates, and adapt. plans to changing goals aligned with understanding of business and technology-related strategy.

  • Demonstrated systematic attention to detail and critical thinking.

  • Ability to manage relationships with third-party research providers.

  • Ability to work with a variety of people across the organization, including senior leaders, individual contributors, support staff and maintain confidentiality. 

  • Ability to maintain good judgment in dynamic environments. 

  • Ability to work in an ambiguous environment and effectively triage several competing priorities. 

  • Work independently to balance multiple tasks and competing priorities simultaneously.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Math, Business, or related field AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development

  • OR equivalent experience

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Math, Business, or related field AND 8+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development

  • OR equivalent experience.

Customer Experience Program Mgmt IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
