We are the Azure Portal and Mobile App organization, which is part of Azure Core in Cloud + AI. Our team is responsible for delivering Copilot for Azure. We are currently looking for an energetic & talented technical Senior Product Manager with technical depth to help us leverage AI to create excellent user experiences for enterprise to manage infrastructure and services on Azure using Copilot. Responsibilities

  • Define Copilot for Azure product and user experiences and work with customers and across multiple disciplines (software development, partner back-end teams, design, research, support, documentation) to deliver them.

  • Run experiments and test hypotheses broadly with Copilot for Azure customers to determine what pain points need to be addressed, and to shape the user experience (UX) design and product direction.

  • Ensure user experiences meet the team’s Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and delight our customers.

  • Customer obsession: always starts with customer scenarios in mind, seeks to understand customer pain points and build end-to-end experiences that offer a compelling value-proposition.

  • Planning and Execution: An ability to think holistically and strategically. An understanding of engineering rhythm used to help the team operate at a high level with knowledge shared appropriately and decisions made at the right level. A proven ability to plan, organize, and manage complex technical products.

  • Communication: An ability to conduct insightful, multi-faceted conversations with technical decision makers inside Microsoft. An ability to conceptualize complex ideas quickly and convey them to others in a clear, effective, and motivating manner.

  • Collaboration: proficient collaboration skills with an ability to work effectively across broad teams and to influence stakeholders at all levels company wide.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development.

  • OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Additional / Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 7+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management

  • OR software development

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • Previous experience building AI powered products.

  • Previous experience with Large Language Models (LLMs).

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,000 - $218,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 - $238,600 per year.
