Microsoft’s Azure Data engineering team is leading the transformation of analytics in the world of data with products like databases, data integration, big data analytics, messaging & real-time analytics, and business intelligence. The products our portfolio include Microsoft Fabric, Azure SQL DB, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure PostgreSQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid, and Power BI. Within Azure Data, our Graph team is dedicated to simplifying the process of extracting insights from the vast scale of interconnected business data prevalent in every organization. We are driven by our goal to enable all users to visualize, analyze, and enhance the intricate relationships within their business data. We are currently seeking a Principal Product Manager who can define and implement our vision of democratizing graph analytics and AI, making them accessible to data analysts, business users, and data scientists across all organizations.

Responsibilities

  • ​​Shapes the Graph analytics and AI product’s long-term vision, strategy, and incremental delivery roadmap.

  • Partners with UX and Engineering teams for timely release and customer success.

  • Fosters engagement with internal teams, external partners, early adopters, leadership, and stakeholders.

  • Works with Product Marketing, Business Planning, and Engineering to set release criteria and strategize on customer acquisition, usage retention, and monetization.

  • Leads initiatives to promote feature areas to internal/external stakeholders, partners, analysts, and industry customers.

  • Develops and evaluates metrics that gauge product success.​

Qualifications

Required /Minimum Qualifications

  • ​​Bachelor’s Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development

  • OR equivalent experience.​

Other Requirements

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check:

  • This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred/Additional Qualifications

  • Preferred demonstrated experience with Graph technologies.​​

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 10+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development

  • OR equivalent experience.​

Product Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $ 133,600 - $ 256,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City Metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $ 173,200 - $282, 200 per year.
