Honeywell Lead Project Engineer in Redmond, Washington

Be part of a team assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance within Honeywell Aerospace. You will partner with world class engineers and leaders to implement product strategies, develop program schedules and milestones, define technology roadmaps, and drive improvements in engineering quality and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
Lead development teams in a new product development environment
Schedule and milestone development/management
Understand technology employed on various programs
Facilitate various teams to solutions and agreement
Project planning, status, execution, and escalation
Program/project metric development and reporting
Risk and opportunity development and management
Driving quotes, estimate efforts and approvals
Managing and developing customer relationships
Travel within US and/ or internationally may be required, < 25%
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
- Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
6+ years in a related field
Experience leading development teams in an engineering environment
Due to export control regulations, this position requires US Citizenship status
Must be able to obtain Secret Clearance

Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience
Ability to create metric-driven action plans
PMP Certification or experience working within an Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
Experience using Lean/Six Sigma tools
Experience leading RCCA activities
Ability to bring a team together to collaborate effectively
Ability to influence others to accept new concepts or deploy new approaches
Familiarity with Navigation Hardware, sensors, and software processes and practices
Experience working on classified programs
Mentoring junior engineers

Salary Range: 144K – 179K
