BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated IT Security Analyst Professional Job for an opportunity at Redmond, WA 40% onsite - Hybrid model- Monday and Wednesday! Expected Duration: Contract of 06 Months and possibility of extension Job Type: Contract and Onsite/Hybrid Pay Range: $42 - $45/hr. on w2 Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). Top Skills: * Years of Experience Required: 5 years of work-related experience * Degrees or certifications required: No specific degree required for the role, some form of a IT Security Certifications required such as MSFT: SOAA, ASEA, Security+, CISSP, CCSP, GIAC, or GSEC. Highly preferred is CISSP. * Minimum 5 years with MSFT Office proficiency - Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, OneNote, Words * Minimum 3 years' experience with Microsoft defender suite. * Minimum 2-3 years' experience with Azure. * Minimum 1 year experience with Intune. Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Security Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will support a game studio as part of the Security team. Responsibilities: * Act as Tier 2 to analyze security alerts and issues performing triage to confirm triage to confirm security incidents in various security tools. * Investigate security incidents and determine root cause, impact, and next steps to mitigation. * Work with various teams on security initiatives and ensure successful completion of work to remediate findings. * Review and analyze vulnerability detections, collaborate with stakeholders to remediate issues, and ensure the successful closure of findings. * Conduct software security reviews and provide recommendations on usage * Update and maintain security processes and documentation ensuring completeness and accuracy. * Provide support in completing projects and tasks aimed at addressing gaps or improving security tools. * Fulfill Identity and Access Management requests and assist with related IAM projects as needed. * Manage and triage security ticket queue * Maintain current knowledge of tools and best practices in cyber security * Participate in a 24/7 on call rotation when required. Qualifications and Skills: * 5+ years of experience in a technical role in the areas of Security Operations, Cyber Incident Response, Vulnerability Management, or other security focused role * Knowledge of operating system mitigations & understanding security challenges in Windows and other Operating Systems * Proficient understanding of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud. * Proficiency in cloud security tools and services like Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and EntraID Security Center. * Experience in vulnerability management processes and tools such as Rapid7 InsightVM, Tenable Nessus, Microsoft Defender Products including MDE, Qualys, Etc. * Experience with endpoint protection processes and tools such as McAfee, Symantec, Microsoft Defender Products including MDE, etc. * Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies such as FAIR, OCTAVE, NIST RMF * Advanced knowledge of Microsoft tools and Office products * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; detail-oriented, problem solver with To view the full job description,
