Key job responsibilities * Physically move and expedite materials when required to support production and meet work order completion schedule. * Verify all materials are packaged/bagged and tagged for hand off to the production floor. * Use proprietary software and ERP systems to virtually complete warehouse tasks and movement of parts. * Document system issues, process flaws and inefficiencies. Communicate with quality control, purchasing and other related departments to resolve problems. * Operate equipment including: forklifts, pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, cherry picker, and hand carts. Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. A day in the life Join Project Kuiper\'s inventory team and support the delivery of satellite material to our engineers as we create and deploy satellites to help bring internet to under-served populations. A day in the life would include fulfilling warehouse orders by kitting and packing direct material and delivering the kits to the production floor. High school diploma or equivalent 1 year in supply chain, operations, warehousing, inventory control or related experience 1 year experience using MS excel, able to navigate and interpret data Able to lift up to 49 pounds Able to stand/walk for up to 10 hours * Be comfortable with ambiguity and curious to learn new skills * Curious to learn in depth about both technology and our customers * A curious self-starter with a proven track record of diving into unknown territory, learning new concepts, and pushing your comfort zone. * An effective multi-tasker who navigates a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with grace and efficiency. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from \$64,480/year in our lowest geographic market up to \$70,720/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
