Gaming and Media Producer BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Gaming and Media Producer for Fully Remote Work opportunity supporting Redmond, WA Position Title: Gaming and Media Producer Location: Redmond, WA (Fully Remote Work) Anticipated Start Date: - ASAP Expected Duration: 3 + Months Contract Job Type: Contract Pay: $30.00-$33.00 on w2 only Overview * We're looking for an experienced Project Manager / Producer to partner with our Executive Producer in managing day-to-day production and workflow for various projects within the studio. Our ideal candidate is: detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment; capable of tracking and communicating complex work items across multiple projects; a great communicator and biased toward an inclusive work environment, and someone who care deeply about delivering the best possible gaming experience for the fans. Summary In this role, you are a key contributor between internal and external teams across a wide variety of functions and subject matter expertise. You'll have direct influence and responsibility for the quality and outcomes of feature development, product publishing efforts, and important partnerships. * The day-to-day tasks will vary depending on project needs, but key responsibilities include: * Identifying, communicating, tracking, and reporting on the individual tasks & work items assigned to you * Coordinating across teams to deliver quality on-time, related to features, content, events, testing, localization, product extensions, and user engagement * Review and provide informed feedback on development schedules and roadmaps * Collaborate with our internal and external teams to remove blockers and ensure pathways to product development and G2M goals * Communicate status and updates on critical work items to key stakeholders regularly * Providing flexible assistance for other Producers as needed Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience * Minimum 3 years experience with Project Management * Minimum 2-3 years experience with Strong organizational and collaboration skills that contribute to documenting a plan and helping others accomplish their goals * Minimum 2-3 years experience with Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills Candidate Requirements * Years of Experience Required: 3+ overall years of experience in the field. * Degrees or certifications: No specific Degree required. * Disqualifiers: Candidates who would use the role as a jumping off point will not be eligible for the role. Best vs. Average: * First-hand knowledge of the AGE OF EMPIRES franchise -Experience with Games-as-a-Service and operating a live product -PC technical knowledge & PC gaming experience -Scrum Certification as a Scrum Master or Product Owner -Familiarity with C#, C++, or other programming languages and basic engineering concepts -Ability to provide additional perspective to our teams to help improve the overall franchise * Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on Communication, quality of work, and customer satisfaction.
