MICROSOFT CORP Construction Project Management in Redmond, Washington

Job Description: Leverage theoretical knowledge of engineering principles to plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage. Engineer a scalable and effective technical strategy to support the rhythm of the business and organizational goals. Plan, initiate, and manage Microsoft-specific processes and procedures. Lead and guide the work of technical staff. Serve as liaison between business and engineering aspects of projects. Monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related degree.
  • Experience: Five (5) years of experience in project management.
  • Specific Skill Requirements: This position requires at least sixty (60) months of experience in: 1) Construction project management; 2) Reporting on project SCOPS, schedule, and budget; 3) Review and approval of vendor scope of work; 4) Design review of site and building plans; 5) Preparation of business case summaries for senior management approval; 6) Schedule risk management; and 7) KPI and process communication to client partners.

Pay Range and Benefits Information: The salary range in Redmond, WA for this position (TSCBR17990) is $191,900.00/YEAR to $221,900.00/YEAR.

 

Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time. 

 

At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role. U.S.-based employees have access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, and wellbeing benefits, among others.
