Administrative Assistant 2 BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Administrative Assistant 2 for an opportunity in Redmond, WA (hybrid job)! Position Title: Administrative Assistant 2 Location: Redmond, WA (hybrid job) Anticipated Start Date: ASAP Expected Duration: 03 plus Months Contract Payrate: $30/hr on W2. Performs a variety of complex administrative functions for all levels of management including external business partners. Manages schedule(s), coordinates travel arrangements and processes business expenses. Coordinates meetings and events, department financial operations, personnel operations, and facility operations. Manages procurement of goods and services including computer equipment, office supplies, reference materials, and vendor relationships. Provides general office support. Serves as the department/group contact. Completes special projects as assigned. Typical Day in the Role * Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is supply chain support for the Cloud, advocating for sustainability and security when sourcing for the Cloud. * Key projects: This role will be a split between two primary functions: * 1. Calendar support for 1-2 General Manager level executives and team support for their teams (around 70 members). * 2. Assistance for the executive office team, assisting with general team support. * Calendar support will be fairly complex, both GMs they will potentially support are project managers with heavy calendars and quick moving teams. * This role will be helping book travel both domestic US and international - knowledge for the VISA process is a plus but not required. Volume of travel will vary depending on budget. * The role will assist in planning events for the direct team such as team meetings, happy hours, and morale events. The position will also provide event coordination assistance for the larger organization but will have a lot of support from other members of the team for these larger org events. * Team support will consist of vendor onboarding and offboarding, updating details (reporting managers, etc.), basic teams support (getting refurbished laptops, peripherals to team members, facility requests, etc.), calendar management for two GM's, in office help (space management, office events, etc.), and more. * Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of 40% calendar management, 40% team support, and 20% additional requests. Candidate Requirements * Years of Experience Required: 2-4 overall years of experience in the field. * Degrees or certifications required: Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required to be eligible for the role. * Disqualifiers: None * Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain significant prior administrative experience, especially in a large enterprise tech company. * Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on meeting deadlines, quality of work, and strong work ethic. Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience 1. Minimum 2+ years of Calendar Support Experience 2. Minimum 2+ years of Outlook experience 3. Minimum 2+ years of Excel experience (more than basic knowledge, including filtering and pivot tables) Hard Skills Assessments * Expected Dates that Hard Skills Assessments will be scheduled: ASAP week of 6/24 * Hard Skills Assessment Process: The assessment process will include back to back 30 minute screenings with 3 members of the team, a total of 90 minutes of interviews. * Required Candidate Preparation: Candidates should be prepared to discuss their prior administrative experience and their ability to manage complex calendars during the assessment.
