CommonSpirit Health OBGYN Physician in Redding, California

We are looking to expand our program and have an in-house OBGYN Hospitalist, we are also able to offer a blended model and have an OB/GYN follow a more typical schedule of hospitalist role and outpatient.

You will have the ability to work alongside other obstetricians in the organization, you have the option to take calls with our hospitalists team.

We have several surgery centers, one being outpatient, and one primary Level II trauma hospital for obstetric deliveries. We have local MFM consultations that offer Level II sonography as well as Zoom interaction if need be.

Salary Range: $320-$380K *Please see compensation disclosure

The hospital will assist with a recruitment package: Moving, sign-on, start-up, and student loan assistance

*Compensation: Reduced schedules with pro-rated compensation may be available. *Some incentive opportunities are estimates based on potential premium pay. Please note there is also a call stipend from Dignity Health if you choose to assist with the call schedule at the hospital.

You will have an established patient panel along with access to direct referrals from within the well-established practice.

Mercy Medical Center Redding offers comprehensive health care to nearly 300,000 residents in a six-county region. It is one of only two Level II trauma centers and the only Level III neonatal ICU north of Sacramento. Mercy Medical Center Redding is a 266-bed regional medical center providing inpatient and outpatient services as well as specialized cardiovascular care, stroke care, orthopedics, neurological surgery, comprehensive cancer care, maternity care, and a robust robotic surgery program. In addition, the hospital's network of care includes Mercy Home Health and Hospice and Dignity Health Connected Living, which serves nearly 72,000 meals a year. The medical staff has over 250 active members who partner with skilled professionals, support staff and helpful volunteers to provide innovative medical services to the North State communities. Mercy serves as a local community hospital as well as a referral center for a vast region from the Oregon border two hours north, halfway to Sacramento (two hours to the south), east to Nevada and west to the Pacific Ocean. Mercy Medical Center Redding is sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy of Auburn, along with St. Elizabeth Community Hospital in Red Bluff and Mercy Medical Center Mt. Shasta.
