Job Description The targeted hiring range for this full-time position is $105,000 - $141,000 depending on qualifications; however, the expanded salary range provides opportunities for advancement. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and job location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, competencies, experience, and relevant education, training or a combination of these things and market demand. Provide general management and strategic execution of manufacturing operations at Plant 2 in Red Wing, MN to drive achievement of business objectives and continuous improvement of people and processes. ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary leader for Plant 2 with strong dotted line leadership across functions in support of Plant 2. Develop and implement goals and action plans assuring alignment within Domestic manufacturing and supply chain. Active owner in Site Tier process with a strong background in Strategy Deployment. Drive continuous improvement of systems/processes and people through implementation of LEAN methods as well as effective assessment of capabilities, development of strategies/action plans including change management and maximization of internal/external resources. Ensure compliance with all company and regulatory policies and procedures. (e.g., safety, quality, finance, human resources, legal). Deliver manufacturing requirements to ensure all P, S, Q, D, C, C KPIs are maintained and improved. Owner of site PNL and performance. Champion and drive people-based strategy and objectives improving overall employee engagement, effective communications, and positive employee/labor relations. Help develop and support implementation of improved training and onboarding methods to drive faster transition into value creation by new employees with improved retention across all employees. Ensure effective collaboration within Plant 2, other manufacturing locations, product creation and other business functions. While meeting demand requirements, achieve financial objectives by executing on an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; and initiating corrective actions when required. Ensure effective plant engagement in research and development of new/improved processes and machinery. Partner with cross functional teams in support of both existing product / manufacturing as well as new product builds in support to product refresh and new product launches. Ensure effective site staff through communications; salary administration; coaching/counseling; monitoring and appraising job results; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing policies and procedures; selection, training and development; and maintaining a safe, secure and legally compliant work environment. Drive cross functional collaboration through Tier management deployment and leadership. Extensive use of Microsoft Office products as well as MRP / ERP use. Qualifications EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-year college or university and seven to ten years related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
