Here, you will make an impact by:Driving existing product quality enhancement through use of continuous improvement methods and tools, such as: Lean Six Sigma,Product and Process Understanding (PPU), Design of Experiments(DOE) and Quality at the SourceSupporting and interacting with customers through complaint investigations, resolution, and trendingSupporting quality systems, quality systems improvements, audits, and supplier quality management processesEnsuring the commercialized product design intent and product integrity is retained as materials, processes, methods, and specifications changeSupporting and/or leading change as it relates to design changes inspired by quality improvement, source of supply changes, or cost reduction effortsTroubleshooting, investigating, and analyzing for non-conforming product testing and dispositionYour Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelorsdegree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institutionTwo (2)years combinedmanufacturing, production,qualityand/or laboratory experience in a private, public, government or military environmentAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Bachelors degree or higher inChemistry, Engineering,or MaterialsScience (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institutionAdvanced experience in aquality function inmanufacturing/productionplantExperience running small scale investigative experimentationin a laboratory or pilot plantDeep emphasis on applied statistical applications and continuous improvement methodologiesSupport and/or lead efforts on life cycle management, risk management, product and process improvements, and other product documentation effortsWork location:Red Wing, MNTravel: May include up to 10% domestic/internationalRelocation Assistance: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being3M offers many programs to help you live your best life both physically and financially. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
