As a Specialist 1 supporting our manufacturing team, you will be trusted to do machine set-ups and adjustments and solve routing operating problems, and you must also be able to understand and verify specifications, and evaluate product quality in Sinking Spring, PA.

In this role, a typical day will include:

Performing a variety of repetitive, skilled manual operations to exacting standards

Adhering to strict SOPs and GMPs

Being able to read and understand product specifications, blueprints, and documentation

Assisting in maintaining detailed product documentation and verification of applicable records

Maintain a clean and orderly work area

Being responsible for product quality during the manufacturing process

Setting grinding wheel and adjusting press station or curve when required

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

High School Diploma or Equivalent

The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English

Work Hours: Work hours: 1st Shift: Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM EST - 3:00 PM EST

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

Previous Experience with Machine Operation, Set-Ups, and/or Troubleshooting

Punch Press & Grinding Experience

Strong analytical and mechanical skills

Visual Acuity

Manual Dexterity
