This position will support Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center and Penn State Health Lancaster Medical Center.
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
This newly created role will be responsible for the regional oversight of the Division of Quality including Performance Improvement, Regulatory and Accreditation, Infection Prevention and Control, Risk Management, and Patient Safety for both St. Joseph’s Medical Center and Lancaster Medical Center. Works collaboratively with Senior Leadership and Clinical Leaders for the East Region to promote quality and safety through all aspects of care, establishes and pursues organizational goals and strategic aims in concert with organizational leadership. Provides leadership and direction to Division of Quality staff. Supports compliance with all relevant regulations and maintains fiscal responsibility for the division.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
Bachelor's degree.
Seven (7) years of experience required.
Five (5) years of management experience required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S) :
Master's degree in nursing
Certification in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Infection Prevention and Control (CIC), or Patient Safety (CPPS) within three (3) years of hire.
