Electrical/Mechanic Industrial Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift - Reading, PA

Shift & Pay:

• 3rd Shift: 11pm - 7:30am, Sun-Thurs

• $25 - $35 per hour - Based on Experience and Interview!

Responsibilities:

• Maintain equipment in an uncompromising state of readiness, adhering to all GMP, safety, and professional quality standards.

• Inspect, maintain, repair, rebuild, and modify any/all equipment, facilities, or facility ancillary equipment as directed.

• Repair any part causing machinery breakdowns in plant facilities, prioritizing repair first and replacement if necessary.

• Troubleshoot recurring breakdowns to prevent future issues and recommend procedural changes.

• Utilize testing equipment or diagnostic skills to determine the root cause of problems.

• Instruct equipment operators as needed to prevent machine or system damage.

• Perform preventive maintenance to keep equipment in sound working condition.

• Assist with facility repairs and maintenance as needed.

• Maintain thorough documentation of all work performed using maintenance management software.

• Support machine setups and changeovers as needed.

• Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times and follow Good Manufacturing Practices.

Essential Skills

• At least 4 years of industrial maintenance experience.

• Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and replace hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

• Mechanical troubleshooting skills.

• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.

• Preventative maintenance experience.

• Must pass an in-house mechanical aptitude test.

• Excellent mechanical aptitude.

• Knowledge of PLC is a plus.
