Veritas’ Worldwide Sales and Marketing team propels company growth by driving all aspects of sales and marketing, including direct and channel sales, global sales enablement and all marketing functions.

We’re looking for Princ Solutions Architect to join our customer facing teams and Enterprise class customers, to create a vision and articulate the true value of Veritas architectures and solutions.

As a proven Architect with a “can do” attitude and approach, you will be expected to engage at Operational level in our Customers, in order to qualify, position and engage in technology based discussions and solution implementations.

You are expected to ensure that clients are able to understand our value through technology and software solutions, for the full array of licensed Veritas product solutions.

The Princ Solutions Architect role is responsible for ensuring that each implemented solution is structured correctly, ensuring it meets or exceeds customer expectations.

Overview of desired skills & experience

As an Princ Solutions Architect , you will be part of a highly motivated and focused Professional Services team, responsible for the technology discussions, positioning and proposal, from first meetings to deal closure and into services delivery. Within this role you are expected to be able to understand high level architectures for Cloud and highly available applications,

Veritas Princ Solutions Architect are proven self-starters with at least 6 years successful track record in a similar role, coupled with a thorough understanding for the importance of changing technology and dynamics that influence and lead Customers IT decisions.

Princ Solutions Architect , you will possess a clear, crisp communication style, both verbal and written, along with excellent presentation skills to work alongside our Enterprise services and sales teams. The have a thorough understanding for the Professional Services lifecycle and be able to credibly engage with our customer in implementing our Solutions to meet customers expectations .

The Princ Solutions Architect will not only be expected to partner closely with the Enterprise Sales and Technical teams, but also align with our key accredited Partners and to support the solution design and Implementation .

As a Veritas Solutions Specialist, you will be expected to be responsible for the following areas;

• Familiar with at least one of Veritas solutions understand and position the value of these solutions, services to Customers.
• Familiar with industry knowledge and trend awareness within core Veritas solutions and technologies.
• Work to understand customer organizations and industry sector needs and key business drivers.

• Represent Veritas Professional Services and offerings to our customers through presentations and leverage value and impact for Veritas solutions

• Meet services operational cadence and hygiene through internal services management systems and processes.

• Translate customer business requirements into integrated technical solutions
• Leverages cross domain architects skills to implement integrated solutions .
• Defines interfaces with adjacent technology areas/customer infrastructure to ensure Veritas implemented solution is integrated seamlessly into the existing environment
• Work with customers, Internal PMO to successful implementation of Veritas solution and drives to technical closure.
• Able to deliver product and technology briefings and ensures all technical teams have been presented to on both Veritas solution.
• Regularly communicate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely updates and/or changes identified which impact projects lifecycle.
• Eager and keen to learn new Technologies and products.
• Proven track record of working effectively and building relationships with cross functional teams, such as presales Engineering, Sales and Services Delivery
• Have solid knowledge on one or more of well-known scripting languages ( ansible, puppet,…)
• Have solidl knowledge on on or more of market well-known operating systems.

** Valid Security Clearance is a major plus**
