Carbon County Attorney's Offic Deputy County and Prosecuting Attorney in Rawlins, Wyoming
The Carbon County Attorney's Office is seeking a Deputy County and Prosecuting Attorney. *Specifically seeking attorney with Trial experience. Full-time position for prosecution and representation of Carbon County. Attorney shall assist in all areas assigned or requested, which may include: civil representation of county boards, elected officials or department heads; felony and misdemeanor prosecution; emergency detentions; juvenile court cases; assist other attorneys in the prosecution of cases; assist in the preparation of charging documents, legal responses, documents, and search warrants; argue motion hearings to courts; present cases to juries or courts; direct and coordinate investigations with law enforcement; work directly with crime victims; provide legal advice to law enforcement and county officials; on-call duties; and assist or direct legal assistants in the performance of job duties. Must have a strong work ethic, excellent legal writing skills, and good interpersonal skills. *Qualifications: Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school and being a member in good standing with the Wyoming State Bar is required. Salary range commensurate with qualifications and experience ($70,000-$110,000/year).
