We are searching for the best talent for MedTech Supply Chain Summer Intern to be in Raritan, NJ .

Purpose: Our university hires play an important role in enhancing our business. We plan to hire Engineering/Supply Chain Interns, and we need YOU! The intern program gives each student real-life hands-on experience, coaching and mentoring, networking opportunities, and the chance to meet people from various schools throughout the country. When you join our family, you will work on projects that improve your leadership, analytical, and project management skills. Cross-functional teamwork provides an opportunity to partner with a variety of people in the organization across all our sectors; Pharmaceutical, Medical Technology, and Corporate/Enterprise. We offer an interactive team environment, where your capabilities and skills will be developed to build a strong career foundation.

  • Internship typical term is 10-12 weeks May to August, 2025

  • Full time requirement (40 hours per week)

You will be responsible for:

  • Data analysis and reporting:

Collecting, organizing, and analyzing data related to inventory levels, supplier performance, delivery times, and costs to generate reports for the team.

  • Supplier management:

Communicating with suppliers regarding orders, delivery schedules, pricing, and quality issues.

  • Inventory control:

Monitoring inventory levels, identifying potential stockouts, and assisting with inventory adjustments.

  • Demand forecasting:

Supporting the team in forecasting future demand based on historical sales data and market trends.

  • Procurement support:

Assisting with the procurement process by creating purchase orders, managing supplier contracts, and expediting deliveries.

  • Logistics coordination:

Coordinating shipments with carriers, tracking deliveries, and resolving logistics issues.

  • Process improvement projects:

Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency within the supply chain and assisting with the implementation of new processes.

  • Cost analysis:

Analyzing supply chain costs to identify potential cost-saving measures.

  • Project management support:

Assisting with project planning, execution, and monitoring for supply chain initiatives.

  • Shadowing team members:

Learning from experienced supply chain professionals by shadowing them in various roles.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Candidate must be actively enrolled in an accredited University for the duration of an intern assignment pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master of Science and/or MBA

  • Minimum GPA of 2.8 is required

  • Completion of Undergraduate Sophomore year at accredited University is required

  • Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and quantitative skills is required

  • Excellent communication, presentation skills and leadership skills are preferred

  • Ability to balance multiple projects and initiatives while executing results

  • Must be a self-starter who works independently while contributing to the team goals

  • Proven leadership/participation with campus programs and/or community service activities is desired

  • Permanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually requires future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.

Additional description for pay transparency: The anticipated base pay for this position is between $22 per hour and $51.50 per hour but will be based on candidate's program year, discipline, degree and/or experience. This position is overtime eligible. Intern/Co-ops may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs such as medical insurance, sick time, holiday pay, and the Company’s consolidated retirement plan in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans. Housing stipend will be offered for those that qualify. This position is ineligible for severance.
